| The dancegoing public may be hazy about their attainments, but the leaders of the American dance community know a couple of prime movers when they see them, and the official recognition comes this year. But I can only hope that the simplistic ideas and thin choreographic invention of Free Radicals give little idea of what the range of Australian contemporary dance actually offers -- and still less of what the dancegoing public, anywhere, might actually want.
