As HALS compounds bis/mono (1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl) sebacate (HALS-3), decanedioic acid, bis(2, 2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-(octyloxy)-4-piperidinyl) ester (HALS-4) for SB and in encapsulated version for WB (HALS-4DW) and 2,4-bis [N-Butyl-N-1(1-cyclohexyloxy-2,2,6,6,-tetramethylpiperidin-4-yl)amino]-6-(2-hydroxyethylamine)-1,3,5-triazine (HALS-5) are tested and summarized in Table 2.
Our attention was focused on the system obtained upon reaction of DOMS with decanedioic acid (SA) at 180 [degrees] C.
The used UVA and HALS types are: BP-1: methanone, 2-hydroxy-4-(octyloxy)-phenyl-; BTZ-1: benzene propanoic acid, 3-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-5-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxy-, C7-9-branched and linear alkyl esters; HPT-1: 1-isoctyloxycarbonyl ethylated 2,4,6 tris(2,4-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3,5 triazine derivatives; HALS: decanedioic acid, bis(2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-l-(octyloxy)-4-piperidinyl) ester.
