In the past, the design firm used a digitizer arm to measure the position of individual points as it was moved around a part. Optional Alphacam software can import "profiles" generated by a digitizer or DXF files from AutoCAD. This PC can be used as a notebook via its full-sized keyboard, or as a tablet by using the enhanced digitizer pen input to take handwritten notes, draw diagrams and edit documents directly on the display. |
