He'd talk lovingly and humorously about his players, how his buddy at New Dorp H.
One of his best pieces of work, also his most personal, was Missing Pieces: A Chronicle of Living with a Disability (Zola 1985), in which he stayed in Het Dorp, Netherlands, a Dutch community created for people with physical disabilities.
