| On 9 December, the very last of the red double-deckers to be designed and built in London, by and for Londoners, plied its final journey over Westminster Bridge and into history. The change will have no effect on the open-topped double-deckers that haul tourists around the city. In 2006 Emirates will receive the first of 45 A380 double-deckers it has on order, and over the next decade expects to more than double its fleet size to 125 aircraft by 2012. |
