Musicians Dave Eggar, Jay Weissman, and Tom Papadatos played live, adding dimension and drive. Although the handsome Ruscha (he has the sleepy good looks of a French movie star--say, Gerard Depardieu minus the loutishness) enjoyed a succession of Hollywood girlfriends (Samantha Eggar, Lauren Hutton, Candy Clark), he never went to Tinseltown. |
