Tokyo, Japan, Feb 27, 2007 - (JCN) - Toshiba, Shibaura Mechatronics Corporation and Chlorine Engineers announced that they have succeeded in developing the industry's first semiconductor resist stripping technology employing electrolyzed sulfuric acid. The new process uses electrolyzed oxidizing water, produced when electric current flows through two electrodes immersed in a weak saline solution and separated by a membrane.
