JIMMY THE GREEK is always entertaining, never stressing, and one of only a handful of guys who can properly perform the Fall Guy. The CAO job might pay well, but it has serious drawbacks -- like being the fall guy for all that goes wrong in county government, without having the power to fix it. Earlier in my life, I would have made a strong effort to resist the role of the fall guy, but middle age means finally accepting the fact that you haven't got a stern bone in your body, and I called the pups to follow me back home. |
