He had all these old tapes from a band that he was in called Freddie Feelgood and the Real Good Feelings. Especially when they come against teams like the Pirates, who despite a feelgood surge in the season's second half still own the second-worst record in the NL. You open your eyes Monday morning, and mingled with whatever feelings you have about your job, your family, your life, there is that 'ahhh, we've got a game this week' tingling that puts a thin sheen of feelgood on anything else distasteful that comes along all week. |
