In the 1970s, disk drives used hand-wound ferrite core "Monkey Face" heads and 14-inch 300 Oersted coercivity Ferric Oxide media.
The internal circuitry uses a new 3-level inverter system(1) (patent pending), as well as a high output low-loss new ferrite core material reactor filter to adjust electric current waveform, all allowing for optimal control and high conversion efficiency.
The PG0322NL series is designed with a ferrite core material rather than the iron powder material typically used in existing motherboard inductor solutions.
