Nibbler's Restaurant, the diner in Beverly Hills known for its flannel cakes and tuna melts and a Westside institution for 45 years, has closed its doors and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
We enjoyed the flannel cakes (like pancakes) served at Nibblers in the Valley, which is now closed.
``They used to be called flannel cakes and that's exactly what they taste like if the recipe isn't good,'' she says.
