Northwest Airlines says it will recall to work all 1,131 flight attendants on voluntary and involuntary furloughs. The schools are facing tough decisions after the LAUSD school board this month decided to rescind employee furloughs and fully fund increases in staff health benefit costs. Sandra Stewart, director of the special districts division of the Services Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 660, which represents court employees involved in legal processing, said the furloughs require employees to be locked in for a year with reduced pay. |
