Card and Farrall (1990) also informally observed that, as in lie detection, changes in galvanic skin response (GSR) seemed to be associated with attempts to fake during PPG assessment.
No mention is made of evaluative tools such as a manual muscle test or use of goniometers, electromyography, thermal and galvanic skin response instruments, and so forth.
