BURBANK - The new owners of Gitana restaurant, a once-troubled night spot in downtown Burbank, will be granted a liquor license to operate the pared-down establishment.
By the mid-1990s, though, applying the Riverdance formula of flashy lighting, amplified footwork, hard-bodied beauties, and a stud-muffin star, Joaquin Cortes's Pasion Gitana was attracting the largest audiences in flamenco history.
BURBANK - The new owner of Gitana restaurant, once part of an entertainment complex that was closed by the city after frequent run-ins with police, has applied for a liquor license transfer - a move the city opposes.
