IDG World Expo (Framingham, MA) and the Global Grid Forum (Lemont, IL), an association of users, developers and vendors involved in global standardization efforts for grid computing, will launch GridWorld, a B2B conference focused on the commercial benefits of grid computing for enterprise IT professionals and IT vendors.
While the Globus Consortium is not a standards body, it does intend to work in tandem with existing Grid standards bodies--such as the Global Grid Forum (GGF)--to further drive implementation of standards that best support enterprise Grid implementations.
