Guy Fawkes' Night

Guy Fawkes' Night, auch "bonfire night" genannt, erinnert an den "Gunpowder Plot", einen Attentatsversuch auf James I. und sein Parlament am 5. November 1605. Einer der Verschwörer, Guy Fawkes, wurde auf frischer Tat ertappt, als er das Parlamentsgebäude in die Luft sprengen wollte.
