Hen·der·son  (hndr-sn)
A city of southeast Nevada southeast of Las Vegas. Founded in 1942, it is in a desert area surrounded by mountains. Population: 241,000.

Henderson, Fletcher Hamilton 1897-1952.
American jazz pianist, bandleader, composer, and arranger. Prior to joining Benny Goodman's band (1939), he was bandleader at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City (1924-1939).
