Honours listHonours list ist eine Liste von Adelstiteln und Orden, die der britische Monarch zweimal jährlich (zu Neujahr und am offiziellen Geburtstag des Monarchen) an Bürger in Großbritannien und im Commonwealth verleiht. Die Liste wird vom Premierminister zusammengestellt, aber drei Orden (der Hosenbandorden, der Verdienstorden und der Victoria-Orden) werden vom Monarchen persönlich vergeben. Erfolgreiche Geschäftsleute, Militärangehörige, Sportler und andere Prominente, aber auch im sozialen Bereich besonders aktive Bürger werden auf diese Weise geehrt.

honours listLa honours list è un elenco di cittadini britannici e del Commonwealth che si sono distinti in campo imprenditoria/e, militare, sportivo ecc, meritando il conferimento di un titolo o di una decorazione da parte del sovrano. Ogni anno vengono redatte dal primo ministro due honours lists, una a Capodanno e una in occasione del compleanno del sovrano.
