Hydropower Resource There are over 7,000 rivers and streams in Estonia but most of them are short, and poor in water: about 420 rivers are over 10 km in length and only 10 of them (Vohandu, Parnu, Poltsamaa, Pedja, Kasari, Keila, Jagala, Navesti, Emajogi, Pedetsi) have the length over 100 km.
