Inappropriate urination is a symptom that something is not OK.
After 30 years of being around veterinary medicine, inappropriate urination is one of the most interesting yet time-consuming problems I see.
A punishment will actually provoke another form of inappropriate urination - the result of being overwhelmed and frightened.
