AP)--An effort to deny instate
college tuition rates to some immigrants has been narrowly defeated in the Virginia Senate.
These students are all OSU Federal members from Benton, Lincoln, Linn, Marion and Polk counties and will be attending an instate
college or university this fall.

The bill allows Georgians that sell property instate
and buy property out of state to defer capital gains taxes, which Perdue's opponents argue, benefits nobody but Perdue himself.
No member or dependent will be required to change their official residency to Virginia from another state to receive instate
