The new product, which is a human antithrombin III concentrate, is indicated for the treatment of thrombosis associated with congenital antithrombin III deficiency as well as disseminated intravascular coagulation.
Resten-NG in the therapeutic dose arm demonstrated statistically significant efficacy in preventing restenosis determined by both quantitative angiography and intravascular ultrasound compared with a control arm and a subtherapeutic dose arm.
It is aimed primarily at medical devices such as intravascular or balloon-type catheters.
