Consisting of competing isometric projections of some topsy-turvy, Escher-like theater, here mutable abstractions bombard the viewer with perpetual motion, metamorphosis, and augmentation or diminution of form, all occurring across a multi-level stage itself composed of refracted and splintered shapes.
The action is seen from two cameras, one a sort of isometric projection that lets Cole see his surroundings and plan what mayhem he can commit.
The competition project for Milibank (1976) has a formally seated Japanese emperor collaged on a low angled isometric projection - presumably reminding the architect of a borrowed landscape view.
