In this enthralling adventure, young Texas Ranger Andy Pickardjoins the hunt for a jailbreaker who murdered the local sheriff--a man Andy regarded as a close friend and father figure.
The movie, based on the book of the same name by journalist Steve McVickers, follows the true story of Steven Russell (played by Jim Carrey, 'Liar Liar') and his improbable, but true, transformation from small-town businessman, father and former cop to gay white-collar criminal and ingenious jailbreaker.
His part in the release of businessman Ben Dunne, kidnapped by the IRA, and his interview with Provo jailbreaker Gerry Tuite in 1981, signalled the start of a spectacular career.
