The four-way set-associative cache memory is divided into two 32 Kbyte areas, one for instructions and one for data.
The compact new stack, optimized for deeply embedded applications with tight size and cost constraints, occupies less than 40 kbytes of memory and can support IPv4, IPv6, and dual-mode IPv4/IPv6 traffic.
Using the SoftPartition architecture of the uniform 4 KByte sectors and uniform 64 KByte blocks, the 49 Series FWH products allow personal computer system designers to have better software granularity, which improves memory utilization.
