The former is made from cane sugar, real mint, key lime juice, Bacardi and a bit of club soda. The food court resembled a mini United Nations, with such exotic offerings as key lime calamari, garlic french fries, gyros, falafel, Salvadoran corn cakes, cinnamon almonds, artichoke hearts, Philadelphia cheesesteak sandwiches, barbecued tri-tip sandwiches and vegetarian egg rolls. I was telling a group of women about a shop in Key West where I'd purchased all manner of goodies for my Key Lime Pie Club, a tight band of dinner party, buddies. |
