It's just the thing for those of us who are so nearsighted we've been turned down for common LASIK surgery.
After LASIK received FDA approval in the late 1990s, millions of people have taken advantage of the procedure to improve the quality of their lives, including myself.
None, however, is likely to affect more people than recent breakthroughs in laser-assisted in-situ keratomileusis, or LASIK surgery.
