No organic or lignitic horizons were intersected in these holes. Drill Hole MC-01-25, drilled 500 meters west of MC-00-16, intersected 130 feet of mixed clay and lignitic sediments. Overlying the volcanic complex are younger sediments including thin lignitic coal lenses and shales. |
