n.1.a wealthy or well-to-do person of liberal political inclination. It is sometimes used as a term of contempt for those espousing the cause of poor people, without having to endure the discomfort that their policies may inflict on others, such as the lower middle class.

Carrying a hand-penned sign reading, ``Hollywood hypocrites, limousine liberals,'' she urged a boycott of Hollywood's products because celebrities' anti-war sentiments ``have alienated their fans.
Isn't that one of those feel-good "green" investments that limousine liberals tout, but that nobody ever makes serious money on?
While posing as limousine liberals, most of today's movie stars have shirked their responsibility to come out of the closet.
