The rate of flow of light per unit of time, especially the flux of visible light expressed in lumens.

(Mathematics & Measurements / Units) a measure of the rate of flow of luminous energy, evaluated according to its ability to produce a visual sensation. For a monochromatic light it is the radiant flux multiplied by the spectral luminous efficiency of the light. It is measured in lumens. Symbol Φv

luminous flux  (lm-ns)
A measure of the radiant power of light emitted from a source without regard for the direction in which it is emitted. It is measured in lumens. See also luminous intensity.
