Byline: Barbara Mae Manila The Philippine government is pushing for the adoption of a single visa for all member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean), a senior Manila official said.
ISTANBUL, Nov 10, 2009 (TUR) -- Member countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, unanimously adopted a closing declaration urging member states to ratify the Preferential Tariff Scheme (PRETAS) and the TPSOIC Rules of Origin, in order to foster economic and commercial ties.
The Declaration recognized the abundance of energy resources in OIC Member Countries and recommended better interaction among the Member States for the development of new technologies, encouragement of renewable energy resources, rationalization of the use of energy and increasing investments in exploration and production activities by taking into consideration environmental concerns and climate change.
