n.
The embryonic duct of the mesonephros, which in the male becomes the vas deferens and in both sexes gives rise to the ureter.

This form is the rarest and may result from simultaneous duplication of the genital ridge and mesonephric duct (Figure 2).
1-3) The lesion is analogous to the development of cysts in renal dysplasia in that both lesions are believed to be the result of an abnormality of connection of the mesonephric duct with the respective organ.
[4] Remnants of implanted mesonephric duct tissue, derived during mullerian duct fusion, may account for the origin of uterine or cervical EWT.
