Alstaat I AM writing regarding the sad story in the ECHO (HeroinRuined My Life, February 16)about the devastation of a young family,including the tragic death of one of the mother's sons.
It was a poignant reminder that every man fighting in Iraq from the lowest rank to the highest and from all countries and backgrounds were some mother's sons long before they became soldiers.
