1. A creeping evergreen plant (Dryas octopetala) in the rose family, widely distributed in northern Eurasia and North America and having flowers with white petals and feathery seedheads.
2. A herbaceous, compact perennial plant (Geum peckii) in the rose family, found only in parts of New Hampshire and Nova Scotia and having round leaves and cup-shaped yellow flowers.
