Alternatively, the recent trend of collectors building architecturally distinguished, museologically driven versions of white cube galleries to display their masterworks is evident in institutions like the Menil Collection in Houston, Fondation Beyeler in Basel, and the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts in Saint Louis.
