Nepetas Related to the catnip and beloved by many moggies, the nepetas mostly have showy, rich purple flower spikes and perform best in plenty of sun and a reasonably well-drained soil.
The lavenders, sages, sea hollies, several to most of the Nepetas (catmints), Artemisias, and, naturally, the Achilleas-like Coronation Gold are all easy to maintain.
She slung her bra on two bamboo poles and filled the cups with compost, then planted them out with trailing nepetas and busy lizzies.
