Neuropsychologists and other medical specialists from the US discuss traumatic brain injury, stroke rehabilitation, dementia, multiple sclerosis, cognitive impairment in people with spinal cord injuries, aggression and violence in rehabilitation populations, substance use and misuse, neurological complications, assessment, ethics, mental state examination, and the Halstead-Reitan and Luria-Nebraska neuropsychological batteries.
In terms of support we have neuropsychologists to assess patients and refer to community rehabilitation centres such as Rehab UK, who are very helpful.
In comparing groups of subjects, neuropsychologists have been able to identify differences in brain activity that correlate with deception.
