Byline: ANI Washington, March 26 (ANI): Scientists have used a new tool to differentiate between man-made and natural nitrogen oxide emissions.
If a local authority finds an area where nitrogen oxide pollutant levels exceed an annual threshold it must, by law, declare the area as an Air Quality Management Area (AQMA).
Power general manager Mahmood Asghar said gas turbines had been retrofitted with new low Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) burners to reduce emissions, which were now better than those required by international standards.
