Kola MUSCAT Eoe1/4" Soil experts at a workshop on soil degradation and salinity held yesterday, have opined that Oman needs to invest in organic farming and conduct research on its sustainability, taking into consideration the soil conditions.
Byline: ANI Guwahati, Aug 17(ANI): Organic farming is catching up among the farmers in Assam, who have traditionally been using manure with inorganic and synthetic fertilisers.
Today, the Soil Association denied this, saying talks with African farmers about the social benefits of organic farming in the region had driven the decision.
