n.1.A torch designed to mix oxygen and actylene at its tip, to create a very hot flame for welding, cutting steel, and other metal working.

oxyacetylene torch  (ks--stl-n, -n)
A gas torch that burns a mixture of acetylene and oxygen to produce a high-temperature flame (3,000°C or 5,400°F) that can weld or cut metal.
