At the end of last month, the first frontline health worker--a 39-year-old paediatric nurse from Hutt Hospital--died from complications from the virus, after spending 11 days in Wellington Hospital's intensive care unit (ICU).
All types of nurses and midwives, including health visitors, mental health and learning disability nurses and paediatric nurses, will be included.
