Under the company's Parent Power scheme, any parental contribution is matched up to 5% of the purchase price.
As well as assessing all academic results on a school-byschool basis, the Parent Power guide allows parents to compare the performance of a given school with other schools in the area or nationally.
They said they aimed to use parent power to drive up achievement and increase the numbers of pupils gaining five good GCSEs at 16, including English and maths.
