And it emerged today that the bulk of that pounds 81,300 will pay the wages of two parish clerks at Holme Valley Parish Council this year.
It will be holding an information evening for village hall representatives and parish clerks tonight at the Wylam Institute, Church Road, Wylam, at 7pm.
