There are two types of trauma that past life therapy focuses on: complex traumas that take much time to resolve, such as chronic illnesses that someone has from a previous live, and simple accidental ones that are not connected to an emotional conflict or a karmic script.
Chronic medical problems such as asthma, allergies, Headache and much more may respond very well to past life therapy, to eliminate physical or emotional pain is one of the reasons a person may choose to regress, some will be to diminish the fear of death or maybe to explain recurring and unexplained dreams.
Past life therapy gained popular attention in the 1970s through books aimed at the general reader by such authors as Dick Sutphen, Edith Fiore, Helen Wambach, and Morris Netherton.
