The national telecom backbone has launched testing process jointly with M/s Vihaan Networks to ascertain the sustainability of Wi-Fi network in three villages of Karenda, Phalsa and Bahadri in the Alwar district of Rajasthan.
As part of this pilot project, there has been installation of a wireless network covering six kilometers of span connecting Wi-Fi towers in three villages of Karenda, Phalsa and Bahadri with the Bhiwadi-based exchange of BSNL.
