SWIMMERS were banishing their Christmas dinners and plum puddings today by venturing into the sea.
I doubt many families will actually be making their own pud when there are so many great plum puddings to be bought at our farm shops and much maligned supermarkets.
As a Christmas movie, it has passed its use-by date and doesn't even belong alongside the half-price luxury mince pies and de-luxe plum puddings.
