WARWICKSHIRE County Cricket Club today dismissed fears that it intends to stage pop concerts if it wins permission for floodlighting at its Edgbaston ground.
This is great news for athletes and spectators alike - but I hope they remember the great pop concerts put on by Gateshead International Stadium in the past.
