Compressor Engineering Corporation (CECO), Houston, Texas, meanwhile, has advanced the reliability of poppet valve technology for high-speed compressors with the development of the rMAXTM mini-poppet valve (patent pending).
This replaced the classic poppet valve allowing far larger intake and exhaust ports, the consequent better breathing giving all manner of improvements.
Fuel dispensing nozzles have a poppet valve built into them that will automatically shut off the flow of fuel automatically once the gas tank is full.
