Byline: ANI Bale Chak Village (Tarn Taran) (Punjab), (ANI): Poultry farming in Punjab, which suffered heavy losses and closures during terrorism days and recently following the Bird flu scare, is now faced with another problem in the form of heavy tax duties.
The role of wild birds in the spread of bird flu is not yet fully understood and many experts say they have been unfairly scapegoated as a distraction from the more pressing risks of intensive poultry farming.
Poultry farming is also something that can involve the whole family.
