Chief whips in the past have sometimes suggested that an MP's voting record should be placed in front of constituency Labour parties at the time of reselections.
I believe Sir Harold had the answer when he said all selections and reselections of MP's should be based on the full membership of the local party in the seat concerned.
The eight automatic reselections from last year appear to be Hussain, Andy Caddick, Ashley Giles, Darren Gough, Matthew Hoggard, Graham Thorpe, Marcus Trescothick and Michael Vaughan.
